Scientific Name Mycteria leucocephala

Lifespan 20-28 years                      Diet - Carnivore. Fish.

Predators and Threats  - Tigers, leopards, hyenas, crocodiles, and humans.

Habitat - Freshwater marshes, ponds and flooded fields; India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, eastern China, Thailand, Kampuchea and Vietnam.
